This page explains how to delete your Active-8 account, what data is removed, and how long it takes. It applies to accounts created in the Active-8 mobile application operated by Adaptive-8 Solutions LLC.
1. Delete From Within the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:
- Open Active-8 and go to your Profile.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account, then Continue on the warning.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete My Account.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion and you are signed out.
2. If You Cannot Access the App
If you are unable to open the app, email support@active8.co from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your request and process the deletion on your behalf, following the same steps and grace period described below.
3. What Gets Deleted
When the deletion completes, we permanently remove your personal data across all of our systems, including:
- Your profile, account details, and login identity.
- Your goals, tasks, plans, and schedules.
- Your calendar events and any connected calendar grants (access to linked calendar accounts is revoked).
- Your conversations with the AI assistant and its stored memory.
- Your workflow history, briefings, feedback, and notes.
- Cached copies of your data.
4. Grace Period and Cancellation
- 30-day grace period. After you request deletion, your account is scheduled to be removed in 30 days. Nothing is deleted during this window.
- Cancel by logging back in. If you sign in to Active-8 before the scheduled date, the pending deletion is cancelled automatically and your account continues as normal.
- Final removal. Once the scheduled date passes, your data is purged (within a few hours) and the deletion cannot be undone.
5. What We Retain
After deletion we keep no data that identifies you. For security and compliance, we retain a single anonymized audit-log entry recording that a deletion occurred. It contains only an internal numeric reference and no personal information such as your name, email, or content.
6. Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel an active paid subscription. If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel the subscription in your store account settings so you are no longer billed.
